Party venue sourcing, handled properly

Venue is the decision that constrains every other decision: it sets your guest count, your catering options, your setup window and often your date. Getting it right early makes the rest of the planning straightforward. We shortlist, compare and book.

Everything below is included when you book party venue sourcing with us, whether it is the only thing you hand over or part of full party planning.

  • Shortlist and comparison Three to five real options with capacity, cost, setup window and restrictions laid out side by side.
  • Site visits We visit on your behalf, or with you, and check the things that are easy to miss — parking, stroller access, kitchen, noise rules.
  • Park and public space permits Where a permit is required, we identify it and manage the application timeline.
  • Contracts and deposits We read the contract, flag the clauses that matter, and manage the booking.
  • At-home setups If the best venue turns out to be your living room, we plan that instead.

Questions

Venues: what families ask

Do we need a permit for a party in a public park?

It depends on the park, the size of the group and whether you are bringing equipment such as inflatables, tables or amplified sound. Requirements and lead times differ between city, county and regional park systems. We check the specific rules for the park you want and manage the application if one is needed.

What is the right guest count for a kids' party?

A useful rule of thumb many families use is the child's age plus one, but the honest answer is that it depends on the space and how much adult supervision you have. We will tell you what a given venue can actually hold comfortably, which is usually less than its stated capacity.

How far in advance should we book?

Six to eight weeks gives us room to secure the venue and the vendors you actually want. Peak weekends — spring, early summer and December — go earlier. We do take shorter-notice parties when our calendar allows, so it is always worth asking.
